This schematic study is a proposal for a hotel development in Imperial Beach, CA. Reflecting on a nearby pier, the 85,000 sf hotel / condominiums / spa complex hovers gently above the ground. A series of floating volumes reach out towards the horizon to frame the unobstructed views and capture the breeze from the Pacific Ocean.
